WELCOME TO THE GIFTEE PORTAL!



You are here because you received a gifted plant from a current member. You will play an important role in helping us create a platform that will connect you to your Plantcestors and other members. For now, all we need is for you to:

STEP 1: BECOME A GIFTEE MEMBER (or Log Into Your Account)


If you received a plant from a current Plantcestry member (your Giftor), you can register it for free. Just be sure to select the Giftee membership, which is required to register a gifted plant.

STEP 2: REGISTER YOUR PLANT 

Record your plant with the information your Giftor provided when they shared the plant with you.

STEP 3: CARE FOR YOUR PLANT

No further action is needed at this time—we’ll keep you updated as Plantcestry grows. Care for your plant so that when it is ready, you can gift it to others, just as it was gifted to you. This will take patience, as it may take several months or more for your plant to become shareable. If you would like to share propagations from a plant you already own, you can apply to be an EARLY ADOPTER Giftor so you can begin sharing right away.

WHAT'S COMING NEXT?


We and your Giftor will keep you posted on new features, including when you’ll be able to see your plant on the Plantcestry Map and, if you choose, track any propagations you share in the future.
